We collect only what we need to provide the service:

• Contact info: your name and email address.
• Your essays and notes: the writing and instructions you submit for editing.
• Payment info: processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Basic usage data: standard technical information your browser sends.

We use your information solely to deliver and improve our service: to edit your essays, communicate with you about your order, process payment, and respond to your questions. We do not sell your information, ever.

Our services are intended for high school students, and we expect a parent or guardian to be involved. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your essays are confidential. We do not publish, share, or reuse your writing. Access is limited to the editor working on your order. Data is stored using reputable service providers with industry-standard security.

We rely on a few trusted third parties to operate: Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and our hosting/database providers. Each only receives the information needed to do its job.

We keep your order information and essays for as long as needed to provide the service and for reasonable record-keeping. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To do so, email us at support@verseprep.com.

We may update this policy occasionally. The “Last updated” date reflects the current version.
